DetailsWhy GODECKS
Anyone can screw down a nice-looking board. A deck fails at the ledger, the flashing, the footings, and the fasteners — so that is where we spend the extra hour.

Start to finish
You always know what happens next and who is showing up.
We walk the yard, measure, talk materials and budget, and leave you a written price.
A scaled layout with your material and railing selections so you can see it before it's built.
We draw the plans, submit to your building department, and schedule the inspections.
A dedicated crew, a start date that holds, and a clean site at the end of every day.
We walk the finished deck together, hand over care instructions, and register your warranty.

Common questions
If your question isn't here, ask us on the estimate visit — there's no such thing as a dumb deck question.
Price follows size, height off the ground, material, and railing. Pressure-treated builds start lowest; composite with an aluminum or cable railing sits higher. We give you a written, itemized number after we measure — not a range over the phone.
Most residential decks are a one- to two-week build once materials land. Permits and inspections usually add one to three weeks before that, depending on your municipality.
Yes. We draw the plans, submit them, pay the fee, and meet the inspector. You don't visit the building department.
Composite costs more up front and gives you back your weekends: no staining, no sealing, and a long manufacturer warranty. Cedar and treated lumber cost less and look warmer but need refinishing every two to three years. We'll show you samples of both.
Often, yes. If the framing and footings are sound, we can replace decking, railing, and stairs for far less than a full rebuild. If they aren't, we'll tell you that too.
